The Utah MBA Angels began as an idea during a Venture Trends course with Professor Rob Wuebker at the University of Utah. The idea: MBA students invest their own money to learn how to angel invest. But how? Angel investors are rich people with lots of connections. Well, we want to learn, and we have built and continue to build a vast network of VC's, professors, angel investors, and founders. 

    This Network of learning and education first, allows us to balance the risk, create experiential learning opportunities, and innovate the future of venture capital. We are not just dabbling or playing games, but real players in the market, with help of our partners.

     As the first Student founded, student led, student funded Angel investing syndicate, our partners are not only growing the future of private equity, venture capital, and local business, but are expanding their legacy and leaving their mark on the world. We are a team, and together we are growing.
